A New Sun (11.25.2012)

November 25, 2012 § Leave a comment

sun moon lake, taiwan (日月潭)

對象, so you say you’ve found you one

A new excitement in your life’s begun

Someone who will accept you, full of fun

Who warmly shines on you just as the sun

O 新的 Boyfriend, gird thy loins for work

Thou shalt not be t’ward her a hateful jerk

Thou shalt not thy responsibilities shirk

Nor in perfidious shadows stoop to lurk

As poachers usurp rights to steal the tusk

As corn holds on to dry and crackled husk

As fish pant after water on the deck

As universes Bang out of a speck

I let go, too, of that which isn’t mine

Relinquish it, though it was never mine
